Kali Uchis is always a good time when you listen to her vocal, lyrics and cozy yet hyper production. Her project Red Moon in Venus, is her third studio album and fifth altogether. As creative as Kali Chis is, so are her Album titles. This one specifically is altered after ancient mythology regarding the full moon lunar eclipses. Which I thought was pretty seminal, but I was not surprised as her piece of work was splendid.

The Columbian-American singer has been exploring and creating her own wave of latin pop music with much success. Her first studio album Isolation was released over five years ago and she hasn't missed a beat since. Spanning from many collaborations along with her recent relationship with Don Toliver she has seem to have found a nice sound.

Red Moon in Venus definitely shows her growth as an artist with deep pure sounds and smooth harmonics that makes it sound like elevator latin music but with a fling. My favorite was "All Mine" & "Fantasy" featuring Don Toliver.
