Into The Spider-Verse became an adored modern classic of the superhero genre and its soundtrack, went on to chart at the top of the Billboard 200, thanks in no small part to the runaway success of “Sunflower.” That all worked in that time frame but as the Miles Morales saga grows the music soundtracks are looking to do the same.

With MetroBoomin being recruiting for this and being a fan of the saga it wasn't hard to get this project under way. Metro's music has always had a flare to it in a cinematic theme that is composed with thumping production which is why he is one of Hip-Hops best in that department. But one would wonder how he would take a project like this and make it his own.

Metro had familiarity with everyone on this tape as he has worked with in the past. This was important in order to focus on the overall craft of the album since the trust was there. A soundtrack is different than an album in the fact that there is less freedom to do things your way as mostly everything goes in accordance to the show or movie that plays alongside it. With a soundtrack one has to cater and craft to a show or movie and dubbing. Things really got cracking when the features dropped their many references to crawling walls and slinging webs. Some find a good balance and some sound a tad forceful but overall not bad.

The overall blend of everyone wasn't too bad although I'm more of a fan of Metro's albums than soundtracks but this was still a good start. If you haven't heard the soundtrack make sure you do so below and let us know which one is your favorite!
