San Antonio, Texas stand up! Mike Dimes has carved out his place by rapping relentless bars and and holding his own on collaborations that included huge profiled artists like J.I.D. and Denzel Curry. It's all been happening pretty fast for the Texas rapper as he has since turned Tik Tok fame into Music Industry Fame when he dropped his single My Story on Tik Tok.
With myself being from Texas it's good to see the growth of a lot of these up and coming artists. Texas has always been a melting pot for musicians. As Mike Dimes starts his venture he is sure to bring more fire to the game with his flow and deep chemistry with his own sound which is growing. Dimes has the true Texas fame story as he was a military kid so he traveled the country a lot but stayed in Texas for the majority of it and calling San Antonio home. He was still working as a cashier during his height of fame back in 2021.
Dime's Texas Boy is all about storytelling and his fans can expect a very lyrical and strongly produced album. My favorite from the project is Arsenal featuring Denzel Curry of whom Mike calls his "big brother." If you haven't heard the tape as always we have it down below, enjoy!
